For now, reducing the power consumption rate of the plant, reducing the cost of power generation, improving the competitiveness of the power supply on the grid have become the economic goals pursued by the power plants. In recent years, the load peak-to-valley difference of the power grid has become larger and larger, and frequent peak-shaving tasks have caused some auxiliary machines to still operate in the power frequency state, causing a large amount of power loss. The main power consumption equipment of the power plant, such as primary air blowers, secondary air blowers and other high-energy-consuming equipment whose output power cannot be changed with load changes. Those equipment can only be adjusted by hydraulic coupler or changing the opening degree of the baffle which will cause a large part of energy consumption in the throttling loss

 
In power plant coal-fired units, primary blowers are the main source of power for boiler fuel delivery systems. The structure principle of a typical direct-blowing coal-fired boiler system is illustrated below. The system is mainly composed of coal mills, primary blowers, air preheater and other equipment. The pulverized coal milled by the coal mill directly enters the furnace through a primary air duct. The system controls the boiler load by controlling the primary air volume.
